How to use Puria

1. Choose your anchor spot

On first launch, choose the one place that defines the day for you: for example the kitchen sink, coffee table, or dining table. Keeping this anchor spot clear is a small daily signal that the home is under control. You can change it later in settings.

2. Start from the dashboard

The dashboard shows your daily focus, anchor-spot status, current energy level, and matching tasks for the active focus room.

3. Start a 15-minute sprint

Tap a task to open the sprint timer. Start the 15-minute timer and work only for that time. The timer continues in the background if you close the sheet. When time is up, confirm whether the task is done.

4. Manage focus rooms

The focus-rooms tab shows your rooms in rotation order. The current weekly room is highlighted. You can add, rename, delete, and reorder rooms, and you can assign tasks to each room with an energy level.

Puria changes the focus room automatically by week.

5. Use routines and weekly reset

The routines tab contains morning and evening checklists that reset daily at 04:00, plus a weekly reset checklist for basics such as dusting, vacuuming, and taking out the trash. Routine streaks help you see continuity without turning cleaning into a high-pressure game.

6. Defuse magnet zones

Magnet zones are recurring clutter spots. Add places such as the chair with clothes or the hallway dresser, then start a 5-minute blitz when one begins to grow.

7. Review your history

The history tab shows 120-day heatmaps for routines, focus sprints, anchor spot, and magnet zones. The goal is to make progress visible without framing imperfect days as failure.

8. Settings and purchases

In settings, you can change language, anchor-spot name, routines, rooms, tasks, and weekday focus themes. Use Restore Purchases after changing devices or reinstalling the app.

FAQ

What is Puria based on?

Puria is inspired by the FlyLady method: small daily actions, a clear anchor spot, weekly focus rooms, and short timed sessions instead of one exhausting deep clean.

How do focus rooms work?

Puria rotates your rooms by week. The current focus room is highlighted, and you can add, rename, delete, and reorder rooms and tasks as your home changes.

What is the difference between a sprint and a magnet-zone blitz?

A sprint is a focused 15-minute session for a selected task. A magnet-zone blitz is a shorter 5-minute reset for recurring clutter spots like a chair, hallway dresser, or counter.

Does Puria need an account or cloud sync?

No account is required. Personal app content such as rooms, tasks, routines, and history is stored locally on your device.

Does Puria use analytics?

Puria uses Firebase Analytics for anonymized usage analysis. Analytics events do not include your room names, task titles, routine names, or other app content.

How do purchases work?

After a 7-day free trial, Puria offers a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase through Apple's in-app purchase system.
